The Chesterfield Badminton League is now preparing for the 2026/27 competitive season. We are contacting current member clubs and prospective new clubs to obtain firm confirmation of whether they intend to enter the league and, if so, the number and type of teams they wish to enter.

The form asks for your club’s firm entry and the number of Open, Ladies’ and Mixed teams you wish to enter. Even if your club does not intend to enter this season, please complete the form so that the committee receives an accurate response from every club. If you`re not quite sure yet, please give your best `estimate`.
RESPONSE DEADLINE
Please submit the form no later than 11:59pm on Tuesday 8 September 2026, before the Annual General Meeting.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – WEDNESDAY 9 SEPTEMBER 2026 - Brookfield School Sportshall Classroom - 7pm Start
Club Chairpersons are invited to attend the AGM. Attendance by the Chairperson or a nominated club representative is mandatory for every club entering the 2026/27 season. The form asks you to name your representative and confirm their attendance. The meeting time will be circulated separately.
FIXTURES MEETING – WEDNESDAY 23 SEPTEMBER 2026 - Brookfield School Sportshall Classroom - 7pm Start
Clubs should also indicate whether a representative expects to attend the fixtures meeting.
League and team-entry fees will apply, but the fees for the new season are still to be confirmed. They will be communicated to clubs as soon as they have been agreed.
We also welcome enquiries from new clubs interested in joining the Chesterfield Badminton League.
Please use the form rather than replying by email wherever possible. If you experience any difficulty completing it, or need to discuss your club’s entry or AGM attendance, please reply to committee.cbl.email@gmail.com.
